Cool New Etch A Sketch iPad Case | PadGadget

iPad accessory maker Headcase has just released their new Etch A Sketch iPad case based on the original hit toy from the 1960s. We’ve seen all types of cases and sleeves here at PadGadget but this is one of the most original designs we’ve come across. The Etch A Sketch iPad Case is sure to be a conversation starter anytime you pull out your iPad.

Headcase came up with the idea for the new case and contacted Ohio Art,  the original Etch A Sketch creator, to secure a license to manufacture the unique case. According to Daniel Deutsch, CEO of Headcase “it has been a thrill to work with Ohio Art to bring the look and the feel of the world’s most popular drawing toy to Apple’s latest opus.”

The case looks just like the original 1960s toy but has been updated to provide the perfect home for your new Apple iPad.  The case is made from ABS plastic with cutouts for your iPad’s buttons and ports.  The case has rubber feet to keep the unit from slipping and has felt backing to protect your iPad while in the case.  The case also has an integrated kickstand allowing you to angle the iPad for easy keyboard use.

The Etch A Sketch iPad case is available directly from the Headcase website for $39.
